Was anyone else expecting...

the gang to resurface? It seemed as though the first thirty minutes really built on James' poor environment, to such an extent that a tragic fate seemed almost inevitable, even when the child and his mother left their home. Surely others thought that Lawrence would get drawn into the problem, especially after James continued to wave the gun around to his face. The film took a different turn - not necessarily for the worst, as I rather liked it - but I couldn't help but feel unsatisfied with the ending, even though it is somewhat growing on me.

That woman deserves her revenge... and we deserve to die.

Yeah, I was... until they moved. But when the film veered into the family theme, I expected Lawrence to shoot himself to bequeath his property to James' mom (although I'm glad James did something to prevent it).
