Could these movies have been good if Uwe Boll

I have not seen any of these 3 Bloodrayne films, but seeing as how none of the films rate higher then a 3.1 I am sure I am not missing anything.
My question is "Could these movies have been good if Uwe Boll had nothing to do with any of the films?
Is there material there that in the hands of a competent director and a worthwhile film studio and writer could have made these films a great franchise?
or is it all fanboy drivel that no matter who directed it/starred in it/wrote it there was no chance of it being good?
