BloodRayne IV... A Cold War Thriller?

It's been years since I watched the first two, but today I sat down and viewed BloodRayne: The Third Reich. Pretty run of the mill vampire movie. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad it wasn't another TWILIGHT. I'm not familiar with the video games, but I'm told the Nazis were the villains in the first game. It is kind of interesting each film is set in a different century, though the movies themselves could've done a better job with such an idea.

Part 3 could've been way better. Had lame shaky camera work and bad acting, making the film annoying and amateur. Comes with a somewhat anti-climatic ending. A pointless but very awesome lesbian scene. And another sex scene that was also kind of unnecessary. I might say I prefer Natassia Malthe in the role. I try not to think with my penis, but damn she's got a great body.

I don't make a habit of watching Uwe Boll films, or watching them simply to complain. I pretty much saw BLOODRAYNE 3 because I saw the first two. And the third was about Nazi vampires, so the idea alone sounded cool enough. But the film could've been better.

While watching it, it brought to mind an idea of BloodRayne in Russia, working as a spy during the Cold War. But I think Uwe Boll wanted a modern sequel, rather than another period piece.

Boll actually announced that he was making a fourth Bloodrayne movie, and that it would be set during the Cold War. Promo poster art for the film was released, but that was several years ago and there's been no news since.

At the same time Boll announced the fourth Bloodrayne movie, he also stated he was making In the Name of the King 2 with Dolph Lundgren. That film was not only completed, but Boll has since made In the Name of the King 3.

Considering that so much time has passed, it's pretty obvious that the fourth Bloodrayne movie is dead.

The only news about a BLOODRAYNE 4 I remember was that it was going to be set in modern times. But it is likely dead at this point anyway. I remember Boll trying to get crowd funding for another film sometime ago, but couldn't, and he flipped out. Haven't kept much track of him lately to be honest.
