CGI looks like PS2 games

This was a mediocre horror film with obvious nods to the Exorcist that border on plagiarism. Also, the CGI was extremely weak and really takes you out of the experience. It really looks like a PS2 game; even worse than the CGI in Spawn. Why would the director overuse the CGI when it looks so awful? Also, the religious elements were a bit hammy and over the top but oh well.

That being said, there are some decent sequences (the dead cat, for example) but the film never manages to get under your skin in the way classics like the Exorcist do. Nothing in this film will keep you up at night. Usually you have to sift through a lot of bad horror films to find a good one. Don't expect a hidden horror gem here.
