Felt like they weren't able to clear rights to Tiffany songs.
Strangely missing from the film is any of her songs. Probably too costly to include. But strangely worked the way they did it. Very sad film.

shareThe filmmakers either couldn't afford it, or Tiffany didn't give permission.
shareIt is a very low budget film and they probably spent all their money traveling and staging the Tiffany meeting. A friend of mine recommended it to me and I think it's a good snapshot of obsession and mental illness.
Two of Tiff's biggest hits were "I saw him standing there" (a Beatles cover) and "I think we're alone now" (a Tommy James & The Shondells cover), those would have costed a lot of moolah.

I agree with both of you.
small budget and it's a doc about a couple of stalkers, who at some points, are portrayed in a way where you almost feel bad for them. I don't think Tiffany would want her songs to be used in that way.

I read that she wouldn't allow them the use of her music because they filmed an interview with her under false pretenses.
