Other Killer Car Movies???????

I love Killer Car films. The Car is my favourite and I really like Christine. I'm sure I've seen more than that but can't think of them right now. Can anyone recommend any others?

I wouldn't categorize The Wraith, Death Proof or Black Cadillac as "Killer Cars" but more "Road Terror" as those cars were driven by non-supernatural forces (albeit Charley Sheen is probably returned from the grave in The Wraith.

Tell me more about The Highwayman - There are a ton of movies called that.

Allow me to add this effort from 1977, ( http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0075887/ )"Crash" with Jose Ferrer, Sue Lyon, & John Carradine. This one is not as well known as most of the others. I don't know why, it was a quite well made revenge-horror story.

Well what about "Rubber" But its only a tire movie :D not a full car

I saw RUBBER recently. Strange film and a unique idea. I felt it ran out of steam a bit about midway, but I still enjoyed it.

I also just saw HYBRID (a.k.a. SUPER HYBRID, HYBRID 3D). I thought it started off really well. The cinematography was excellent and the acting was decent, but once the film settled in it's location it slowly fell apart. Still, I've seen worse, and there's some good moments.

'Rubber' was really interesting.

There's one called Crawler aswell about a bulldozer not really very good but these sorts of films are rare. :)

Another one about a Bulldozer is Killdozer from 1974, a pretty cheesy supernatural movie.

A similar movie to Super Hybrid is No Way Up (aka Throttle, http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0398033/). It's kind of a homage to Duel I think, not too well-made but might worth a watch if you dig these movies

Now there's a killer living truck movie from 2010 called Road Kill (aka Road Train) to add to the list. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1241330/

lots of good recommendations. I think I'll give Road Train a go. It's Australian and has good cinematography, so worth a look.

I am still trying to work out why this movie got bad reviews here: It's a thrilling ride, a bit of a creature feature and yet some want to sabotage the movie. That review at the top needs to be removed, some guy has pasted a ridiculous review - 'ludicrous story' to quote. The horror genre may seem ludicrous to those who can't handle a different type of story, and as someone from the 80s who watched seriously bizarre horror movies, I can attest to knowing that horror movies can be overtly bizarre so as to be ludicrous. And that makes them interesting. I would like it if the main review is taken down and replaced as I almost missed out on what was a fun action horror ride here.

On other car movies, the lists given are the ones. The 70s classic 'The Car' has some fantastic stunts going on and great scares. The Wraith is good, and if you like Stephen King, have a peek at Maximum Overdrive.

The Car sucked, but it's a million times better than this. The first five minutes had potential and then it went down hill super fast.
