Is it just me or is this show a complete knock of, off the spoof series inside Extras in which Ricky Gervais'es character gets his break break in...with that silly wig and glasses and accent "You're having a laff aintcha"!
Someone should tell him theres royalties to be collected!

Didnt Gervais also get roasted for saying “Well done Winslet. I told you, do a Holocaust movie and the awards come, didn’t I?" in Extras lo and behold she wins an Oscar haha.

Huh???? I don't get that at all. I'm a huge fan of Ricky Gervais and Extras and this is absolutely nothing like Extras. Are we talking about the same show?? The one with Mitch Rouse and his 3 mates who are precision machinists? There's a tenuous link in that, at one point in the show, there are some guys around a table but surely that's not the link you're making?? This show "Factory" is the stupidest, funniest show I've seen in years. I'm sure Gervais would love it and see no link to Extras at all.

Within 'Extras' Ricky Gervais's character makes it big by selling out and creating a 'trashy sitcom'. This sitcom within 'Extras' is what the Factory resembles.
I love Ricky's work and i'm not knocking him the slightest. In fact i'm agreeing the man's a genius.
