If Kendra had a bigger role?

I do wonder if the film would have been a lot better if Kendra would have been given a better role, since Mary Kate Olsen was one of the best parts of the film and felt she was greatly underused.

I absolutely love this film. The best beauty and the beast modern take version ever made but i must say Kendra (or mary kate actually) was the crappiest act I have ever seen!

Really? I thought she pretty much stole the show. If there was a weak link in the cast, it was Vanessa Hudgens.

I liked Kendra as well. He deserved the curse she place on him.

Mary Kate was hardly in any of it - would have loved to see more of her in this film. She sizzled as Kendra. She showed she can play a lot more than just goody two shoes Michelle and the other fluff she was in as a child. And I liked to see her by herself (no Ashley) so she can show she's her own person and doesn't exist as only part of a pair. She was so self assured and cynical - practically snarls every line. But that's what I liked about her.

Agreed. Mary Kate was very good in this. She made her character that much more interesting.

Mary Kate was awful. I think of lot of you are mistaking her look for good acting. She looked great, but every time she opened her mouth, a bunch of stink came out!
