No Life Kids

I see the "NO LIFE KIDS" , 20 of them, gave this a one...
Well Folks, So you know, there are a group of these Knuckle Heads
that are trying to discourage you from renting movies by
giving them a one. If you have any regard for the film industry,
make your own decision. Rent and give your vote. I found this Flick
to be quite entertaining.

And if you had any regard for the film industry you wouldn't be sticking up for this appalling pile of tosh. One was about what it was worth.

Saying it's a 1/10 is dishonest. It is what it is: A spare-change Indie about treasure-hunting on the Yucatan Peninsula.

I suppose you could call it a vanity movie of star Protasio, who co-wrote the script along with director David Murphy. Protasio makes for a quality protagonist and his ripped physique is inspiring (in a “get in better shape” way). Storm is also good in the role of the annoying-but-amusing hot blonde. I was impressed by the scenic Yucatan locations (ocean, shores, jungles, etc.) and, especially, the authentic caves & natural pools with superb lighting. The score’s notable too.

The director/writer (Murphy) is proficient with practically everything except dialogues, including sound, especially concerning the less experienced cast members. If you can get past that glaring flaw and appreciate small-budget Indies, there are several entertaining elements.

I give it 4.5/10.
