Just finish watching the movie.

What movie did you watch? The version I saw wasn't decent. From the piss poor Universal Soilder cover rip off to when my DVD player threw up the disc.

The opening scene, how cliche. A flashing red light and sirens!!! Oh no. Men running with batons. ISSAC (Franklin) beats them up in some choppy fight scene. It goes down hill from there.

I did learn two things from this film.

One, shooting an El Camino in the tailgate causes an explosion.

Two, Kelly Kapowsky has packed on the pounds. No cleavage shown AT ALL. But she does sport a fantastic flannel shirt. Hollywood is filled with plenty of pretty, well built women looking to make a break in the film industry who are willing to shed a few clothes in the process. Why they weren't considered? No idea.

In the end, Rich Franklin is too soft spoken and average for an action role. He would be much better in a buddy-buddy comedy where he is paired with a truffle sniffing donkey and they wander the plains of South Dakota trading songs for bowls of soup and they solve crimes and they recycle. Or maybe a cliche love story, with a woman, not the donkey.

Surprise the heck out of me but I rented it b/c it accumilated 5 stars (between 1-5)from the video store I rent from, that's a high rating. it wasn't a 5 star to me which was up there w/ Ironman...but Im not a action-movie fan either.

Yes the movie was very good and was not bad at all but it did remind me though of Jean Claude Van Dames movie Universal Soldier that was done in the early 90's. This movie was a little different though because instead of using a dead soldier it used and convict put to death on Deathrow.
