Enjoyable - Better than I thought

I saw this movie pretty much because of Rich Franklin, i thought it would just be a bunch of scenes of him kicking ass with a loose plot to move things along. I was suprised though, I actually enjoyed this movie. The plot of turning convicts into soldiers has been done quite a few times but i think there was enough character interaction and development to push past the rather stale story. I think most of the actors pulled off their role well enough, and Rich's soft spoken, monotone lines made me laugh a few times... and he did kick some ass, though I was expecting a few more scenes of him fighting. There were quite a few plot holes and the ending seemed rushed but overall not a bad flick to watch through, hope Rich gets into some more films!

I bought Alien Quadrilogy for 21.95; Not bad for two movies.

I agree with you. For what it was (a low-budget sci-fi TV movie starring an MMA fighter who's never acted), it was actually a pretty decent movie. Nothing great, probably a 6/10, but still way better than I and probably most people would expect.
