does anyone else think...

Trevor and Zach intended this movie to be horrible. I am a big fan of WKUK and they are completely capable of making comedy so much better than this garbage. Which is why I think that's exactly what they intended it to be...garbage. Maybe as a satirical stab at other movies of this nature, or maybe it was just for the hell of it. But I don't think they could have made a movie this bad unless they tried. What does everyone else think?

It's like "Dumb and Dumber" but with deeply unpleasant sight gags. So, yeah, maybe it's a deliberate portrayal of deeply stupid and crass people underscored by hopeless naivity. I can believe it's a satire on movies with similar content, but it could be just as easily exploitative from a commercial standpoint.

I thought that was a great movie and very funny .

No, oisinmcbride, it's not. I really like The Whitest Kids U Know too, but this was horribly unfunny. As far as the OP's suggestion that they made this movie terrible on purpose, I really wish I could believe that. But, no, I can't buy that this was just an Andy Kaufman like performance art piece. This movie was truly disappointing and if you're a big fan on TWKUK, like I am, then would know to expect better from them.

Are all you people you hate this movie either 10 years old or some kind of extreme religious freaks. This movie is hilarious. This reminds me of Harold and Kumar. It is a Movie and it is supposed to be entertaining. If you were offended, you should not be watching a movie about a guy who tries to find his girl friend at the Playboy Mansion. I mean Jesus T. F. Christ!

reply

Haha naa this movie didn't offend me. I'm not 10, religious, conservative or a troll either...I just thought the movie sucked. For the record, I think Harold and Kumar is very funny and a lot better than this piece of crap. Your post is kind of ironic though, as I've heard Trevor from the WKuK is a bit of a religious freak...dunno if there's any truth behind it. Anyways it really doesn't matter what I think because a person liking a movie or not is totally subjective, so don't take it personally.

I'm like you. This movie is just lame. It isn't funny, no matter how hard they try. And it hssn't anything to do with age, religious beliefs (don't know why that was even brougt up since no one objected to the content). It's just not funny.

Even Trevor Moore admitted they weren't really happy with the final product. I agree with what he thinks, that some scenes work really well but as a feature-length film it doesn't really hold up. Still, I like this movie better than most people (certainly better than most critics).
