Trevor and Zach intended this movie to be horrible. I am a big fan of WKUK and they are completely capable of making comedy so much better than this garbage. Which is why I think that's exactly what they intended it to be...garbage. Maybe as a satirical stab at other movies of this nature, or maybe it was just for the hell of it. But I don't think they could have made a movie this bad unless they tried. What does everyone else think?
shareIt's like "Dumb and Dumber" but with deeply unpleasant sight gags. So, yeah, maybe it's a deliberate portrayal of deeply stupid and crass people underscored by hopeless naivity. I can believe it's a satire on movies with similar content, but it could be just as easily exploitative from a commercial standpoint.

As far as the OP's suggestion that they made this movie terrible on purpose, I really wish I could believe that. But, no, I can't buy that this was just an Andy Kaufman like performance art piece. This movie was truly disappointing and if you're a big fan on TWKUK, like I am, then would know to expect better from them.

Even Trevor Moore admitted they weren't really happy with the final product. I agree with what he thinks, that some scenes work really well but as a feature-length film it doesn't really hold up. Still, I like this movie better than most people (certainly better than most critics).
