Rented this on DVD. Great acting and a really good story with a twist. Sad, funny and dramatic all at the same time. John Leguizamo = Fantastic Actor
I really enjoyed this movie particually because I went into it with low expectations. Definitely a must-see of you like the whole “dysfunctional holiday family movie”.
It was awful. I couldn't even sit through it all the way. The acting was terrible and the writing was horrendous.

My fave part was the interaction of the siblings, three of my favourite actors in the same scene, they blew me away. :)
Me and my family tried watching this last night but we only watched around 20 minutes then turned it off. We wanted a festive Christmas film but it didn't feel very festive and all it seemed like there were moments when we couldn't hear what they were saying because more than one person was talking at a time or there was an awkward silence. .
Maybe we didn't give it enough time to get going since more people than expected said they liked it than didn't, so we might give it another try.

I have just finished watching this, and I enjoyed it very much. I had no problem at all with the acting, and I thought the production was first class. This is an excellent film of its type, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good family drama. If you bent over backwards you could find faults but, as one of the lines in the movie goes, life is short. Enjoy this for what it is.
