Who could possibly like this??? (SPOILERS)

This movie was the worst movie in the world!!! It could drive somebody to kill! I really hated it. It totally took me out of the Christmas spirit. I am so happy that it bombed. The only good thing about it was the parts with Sarah, because I loved how mean the family was to her at first. Please feel free to write back with all of your comments. Thanks :[

I agree It was bad, half of the movie was just empty like the whole he killed my brother thing, what was the point of that or the actress getting the job but decides not to take it....WHY? Its a job but she rather stay and *beep* her new boyfriend. Also why did the mom announce for the first time that she and the dad are getting divorced? What a bitch. Those moments felt like What was the Point? The only thing that was good about this movie was Luis Guzmán. By the way, Why the hell is a English man playing a Puerto Rican man? All that did was remind me of Super Mario Bros.(Movie).

3/10

Wow! I think you totally missed the idea of the movie. The movie i watched was about a large latino family trying to get it all together for the holidays. Jesse had been on a tour in Iraq for 3 years, the actress didn't come home for three years after hollywood and obviously mauricio and sarah are an extremely busy work couple. So they all get to come home for Christmas after a long time. Things have changed, family members have changed, Dads got a secret, mom thinks hes cheating, shes pissed. She tells them her and dad are getting divorced. She felt the need to do that. That was her right, if it had been a true story, but its just a movie and thats when the writers wanted her to say it.

I don't recall the family treating Sarah like *beep* they just dont understand her, shes not the average latino woman, staying home, popping out a bunch of kids. shes career oriented. the mom of course was aggravated because she wanted grandbabies from them two. but she wasnt a bitch about it

i think this was a feel good movie. it brings light to what really matters around the holidays and thats being with your family and loved ones. if something goes wrong, it happens but you work with it and around it. siblings fight, parents fight, in laws are shoved in the middle. but in the end, they all love each other more than anything and they know family comes first. havent you ever heard 'i can kick my brothers ass, but nobody else better not'. thats how family is.

this movie showed that the holidays is about that love. that unconditional love that even if you dont approve of your siblings life choices, or agree to their lifestyle, you love them anyway. and the actress didnt take the job because she said it was a 7th lead part that would probably get cancelled anyway. she turned it down because she just found out he father is dying with cancer and that a guy she was always interested in, but was a thug, just me be the one for her.

if you didnt get that, you might want to watch a holiday movie where its all about money and top presents, because of course that is what the media want you to think christmas is about. but its about the feel good stories, like christmas vacation, a christmas story....REALITY and family.

"Why the hell is a English man playing a Puerto Rican man?"

Alfred Molina may not be a Puerto Rican, but his father was from Spain and his mother Italian. Thus, he also speaks Spanish and Italian fluently.

My suggestion, that you never watch it again. It doesn't seem to suit you.
