Just saw it. I gotta say it should have been shorter. The whole part about McDonalds, the phone sex and the withdrawal delusions just seemed to drag the movie to the point people start wondering "where is this going"?
None of the parts made me care about the characters which is the only reason why these parts would have been logically kept.
Being shorter wouldn't have kept it from sucking. It was already a relatively short film. They just didn't have anything else to really do in this movie (seriously, it's a handful of people trapped in a gas station with a killer; how long could it possibly last?). A plot with slightly more depth and conflict would have greatly improved this movie. I don't think particularly making it shorter would have helped.
