The Debut of Collin Brown

I heard Collin Brown is in this film, but they're keeping his involvement under wraps, like Spacey in Seven. Any truth to the rumor that we might get a first look at this soon-to-be superstar?

reply

Yeah, I have a friend working on the inside who frequently acts as a source for sites like AICN who tells me they rewrote some scenes to fit him in. Apparently they shot the scene with a skeleton crew so as not to spoil the surprise, filming an alternate "decoy" sequence so as to throw the general public off guard. Reminded me Vader's scene in ESB or something. I don't know...I'm getting really excited for this one...this Brown is all anyone is ever talking about. Any word on the nature of his scene(s) in this film or what he has next on his plate in terms of projects? I heard something about a jewel heist movie.

Thats what I am hearing. One of my cousins worked on the set of the movie and said that Brown has stood out more than any other. We can only hold our breath to see what the future holds for this bright young star.

reply

Well I've heard he's working on a passion project, which is actually a biopic about himself tenatively titled "Downtown Brown." There may or may not be a jewel heist scene within this movie.

reply

I've personally worked with the magnificent Collin T, Brown, and all i can say is perfection. Looks, talent, the know-how to do anything called upon him. You will definitely hear the name Collin Brown in the future.

reply

i heard some rumblings about him at work the other day...i work at a cinema and the projectionist is big on the indie scene...apparently hes some of the best indie film has seen in quite some time. hes reportedly big into "method acting" somewhat like deniro in his presentation. anyone know what hes doing next?

reply

i recently ran into Brown at an ADR session...really amazing vocal range, he has a voice that has plenty potential he almost reminds me of morgan freeman's early days

reply

"Downtown Brown" sounds really cool. From what I hear he had a really interesting childhood, his parents actually didn't want him to act so he had to do a lot of theater stuff secretly...its really great to see someone who acts for the passion of it rather than just the money.

You probably weren't important enough to know that he was in the movie. He was kept top secret. Also, it's two L's please.

Listen, I didn't ask to fight. But if you wanna throw down I'm not gonna opposed to it. Your grammar mistake (it's you're) aside, I never asked for your opinion. I know he's in the film, and I know you probably weren't on set while he was there, because, as I said, he was kept under wraps. Perhaps you missed a class on reading comprehension or something, I don't know, but I'm not sure why you're repeating yourself when I already answered you. Just so you know, I don't really need to hear the opinion of someone listed as the fifteenth lead about the next big star in the movie business.

Hey man, cool it. Last think we want is to give Collin Brown a bad name by starting arguments on his message boards. Have some respect for the man.

I have had the pleasure of collaborating with Mr. Brown on several films, and all I can say is that his genius is only paralleled by his quiet, powerful presence on film, and in person.

From what I hear from my movie colleague, this guys supposed to be pretty good. I'm interested in seeing what this supposed "up and coming star" can do.

I hear this Collin Brown fellow lives in Rhode Island natively, anyone know where?

reply

Yeah, rumor has it he's currently stationed in RI. Nobody can keep a finger on him, he likes to switch up his location every month or so, just to keep it fresh. I'd expect nothing less from this acting legend.

reply

He's living there now, but nobody quite knows where. However, he was actually born in Greece, at the foot of Mt. Olympus.

reply

Speaking of feet and Mt. Olympus, JJ Abrams has confirmed that the statue seen early on in Season 3 is in fact the remnants of a statue erected in honor of Collin T. Brown...50 years before his birth...

I have had the pleasure to have starred in a film with Collin T Brown. It was low-budget, and we were just children. It was called 'The Adventures of Marvin and Jeffrey' and it was cinematic gold for two 9 year olds with a video camera and no crew. Not only was the acting Oscar-worthy, but we effectively pulled off a rack focus on a two shot of us...with no crew. That's right, scratch your head. We were brilliant.
That's all I have to say about that.

reply

Looks like Collin's next project is gonna be "Cold Planet." He directed, wrote the script, and he's the lead. This kid's headed for the A-List.
