big and bulky vs lean and fit

which body shape would you prefer :

world's strongest man physique

bodybuilder physique

MMA fighter physique

fitness model physique

reply

The lattermost. I can't imagine what it'd be like to have a Calvin Klein underwear ad body (ala Mark Wahlberg, Antonio Sabato Jr, etc...) from back in the day.

I think the optimal male physique is similar to an MMA Fighter. Muscular, flexible and powerful without being distorting. I think it's similar to TV wrestlers and world's strongest man. I like how each person's physique is slightly different depending on their genetics and body type. But they all have strong bodies.

No two persons ever watch the same movie.

Lean and fit, if you want to attract women.
Big and bulky, if you want to attract other men.
Not that there is anything wrong with that.

reply

So does that mean I'm a hermaphrodite since I'm a woman who likes big and bulky?

I love big and bulky too, I think body builders are gorgeous.

reply

I would say old school body building physique before the big stomachs came in.

reply

Interesting to see her 2 women who are interested into big muscular guys when most women who have come here say it is OK with men just being fit.

reply

What is now just considered "lean and fit" actually would have been considered a bodybuilder physique decades ago, before the rise of steroids and other tissue-building drugs.

That's absolutely right. Sean Connery (THE Connery) used to compete in Mr. Olympia; then guys like Gordon Scott came along and the juice started flowing. The most beautiful bodies in the Olympics belong to the gymnasts and the swimmers. Form follows function.
