Does anyone know anything about that guy?? IMDB has a profile for him but I believe its wrong. Did he have a big part in over the top????

Hes only in the Vegas finals on Over the Top.I think he has a green shirt on.Big dude with a beard.

How old was he in over the top? Does he have many lines???? Has he appeared in any other movies????

It seems that is the only time he appeared on film; and is looking to be in it again despite being over 50.

Odd how the guy who played Solar man in Superman 4 only had that participation, moved on as a business man and is quite realistic and mature. Makes you wonder.

Fine, what I am trying to say is the following:

A.- Paul is an immature and pathetic person for doing the same thing over and over again for the past years; didn't do anything trully productive with his life and aims for a dream he will never achieve and is too old to make it happen.

Or.

B.- Paul is a great person as despite the adversity and his age he hasn't given up his dreams; plus he is happy as he gets to do what he loves to do every single day.

I was doing research about him. It says his real name is Paolo Casella. He died in 2005, 3 years before the movie was released. The interview with him must have been pretty old.

He's actually done quite a few movies (mostly foreign films). But "Over the Top" was one of his last.

Paul in the Van's name is Paul Sullivan he's listed in the cast of this documentary his only other IMDB credit is Over the Top

True, it is not the same guy.

Guess there really are people who act worse than 12 year olds.

When I looked it up at the time, it had this other guy in the "Over the Top" credits as Carl Adams. Must have been a weird IMDB goof. At least he's not dead, that we know of.

Unless they fixed it, the character he played in Over the Top was named Carl Adams.

I quite liked him and if he was genuinely happy then good for him.
