Can we stop giving stupid people their own shows?

It is mind-numbing to see how many pathetic people have their own show. Most of the time, they aren't even interesting and they do nothing but confirm what we either knew already or could likely surmise.
It's like in order to have your own tv show, you've got to meet one of the these requirements.

- You're stupid (Snoop's Father Hood, My Fair Brady, Flavor of Love, I Love New York, The Girls Next Door)
- You're a quasi-celebrity (The Hills, The Kardashians, Dog the Bounty Hunter)
- You're a has been (Hulk Hogan, Run Simmons, Brett Michaels, Flava Flav)

For the love of God, make it stop.

It's because the entertainment industry knows that the demographic the shows are produced for don't possess IQ's higher than 90. They know that their priorities are backwards, they know that their group consists of mostly imbeciles who will watch just about any reality TV formula they can concoct and recycle again and again and consistently get high ratings. Have you ever seen the movie "Idiocy", that movie is prophetic and the transition to a dumb, listless nation of morons is happening now.

Flavor of Love, I Love New York, BET etc etc. Why is this entertainment? Why are millions of Americans fascinated by these shows enough to sit and waste 30 minutes to an hour or more to watch depravity and buffoonery? Give us something REAL and perhaps educational (in the context of life lessons)! Not this sensationalized minstrel coon shyt!

All this goes to show is how malleable this generation is.
