i think they talking about Walt.

V: The only verdict is vengeance, a vendetta

In one of the episodes of the first series, I think it was, in a flashback dealing with Michael and Walt, a bird flew into a window when Walt was in a room. It's the same thing that the birds in this episode were doing. And also, Juliette says 'his father's out there looking for him' to Ben in this episode. I think we can safely assume it's Walt they're talking about.
