Does anybody know what it is? Is it just my copy? Throughout the entire game there is the sound of jingling bells in the background about every two seconds. It nearly ruins an otherwise perfect game in my opinion, it's completely annoying, and really has absolutely nothing to do with Star Wars or Lego, it's ridiculous, mind-numbing, and sometimes creepy. Anyone know why this is in the game? Or how to turn it off?
sharewell when you first mentioned it i thought it was a fault in the game but it is actually the Lego canisters making that sound and when you find them the noise goes away

I hope you're not talking about the stud counter as you add studs? That's just the sound you hear when you collect money - sort of like a register.
If you stand still and don't interact with anything do you still hear the sound? If that's the case then you may have a damaged disc with some strange audio track stuck. Switch your surround to standard stereo and you probably won't hear it anymore.
Lastly, you could select options and play with the audio - isolate if it's 'music' or if its 'special effects' and then disable the appropriate source.
