Haneke's wrong move?

Making two films (one after the other one) with the same theme, showing the sin instead of the sinner, was not a good move in my opinion. Yes, both films are very good (especially Caché), and deal differently with their characters and their struggles, but in the end it is as if Haneke thought he didn't make his point across on Caché and had to make a movie with the same core to do it.

For all we know, the person sending the tapes on Caché could be the same person doing all the horrible stuff in The White Ribbon.

I think this post is a wrong move

Haven't seen Cache yet but I can't even fathom how someone would claim that the creation of this masterpiece is a wrong move. Beautiful art can never be a wrong move.

I still find cache and The White Ribbon vastly different films. Perhaps some similar themes but overall quite different.

They have a few similarities, but they're both very good and very different.
