Delicatessen *SPOILERS*
Just saw Micmacs! I guess we know what happened to the couple from Delicatessen! How awesome eh?
Although these were supposed to be two different worlds, but I'll take the reference!

I know! I thought that was awesome! I knew it the second the music came in.
Did you also notice that the boy that plays young Bazil was Denre from The City of Lost Children.

"Did you also notice that the boy that plays young Bazil was Denre from The City of Lost Children. "
I cant say i'm 100% sure about this, but i dont think this can be true...city of lost children came out mid 90s , 15 years ago....it doesnt add up.
You are correct, they are different actors. The boy playing young Bazil is Noé Boon; the actor playing Denree is Joseph Lucien.
shareThat scene was so great!
Louison and Julie!
What's that... a secreter room?
Can you guys tell me which scene the cameos are in? I haven't seen "Delicatessen" since it was released in theaters and have a bad memory.
Thanks!
It's the scene when Bazil follows Marconi home and climbs the roof to drop a microphone down the chimneys. Louison and Julie are playing in one of the apartments he spies on. Here's a snapshot: http://img715.imageshack.us/img715/214/vlcsnap2010062404h46m11.png
shareI was just curious. Did anyone who did not know about the cameo realize that it was Dominique Pinon who has a large role in this movie?
shareDominique Pinon has a much smaller role in this movie than he did in Delicatessens
A Tim Burton Fan
He acts in all Jeunet's movies.
shareBump that last one. He likes to keep many of his actors, I think they are in no way related. Unless Amelie, Delicatessen, City of Lost, Aliens whatever, ad so on are all the same arc. (seeing as the last poster said they were in all). But also figured the OP was joking. In an interview he admitted the connection, but he said he wanted Audrey to have two kids while her man was watching TV, but she could make it while filming Coco. So he did the Delicatessen joke. Again I think it was only a joke, not like in the RED, Blue, and White movies.

I wonder how many viewers recognized it.I think that it's safe to say that most people who saw Delicatessen noticed it.
I also like the "reference" of Amelie... it may not be a reference, but I imagined that it is one... when the woman from the video shop said she has a boyfriend with a motor bike and he picks her up every afternoon. I know, it's very random, but I would like to imagine that after 8 years amelie and nino are still together :)
shareOh I didn't catch that the first round. Good eye (or ear lol) That would be nice. It seems fitting that if the couple from Delicatessen had a happy end then Amelie and Nino would too.
