You have to (possible) break the glass and get a chest, bounce up after one, solve a hirglyphic for another, get a thug to chat with the idol for another and, we suspect, blow up the round silver shields to get the last one. How does one get dynomite into the college? Or is there some other way to blow them up? And once you've done all that, you must assemble something important, right?

Never mind. We figured out you have to jump into a bazzooka man for the blow up part...

I just foudn the tent hiding the chest - and there's another chest on a shelf I cannnot jump up on...*and* there's a code thing on the chalkboard - that's the answer. finally, what do we do about the statue that shakes his head everytime Indie prays to it?

Each one of those things CAN be accomplished, you just gotta have the right character do it. I think there's little door for Short Round to crawl through that puts him up on the shelf. You gotta use a guy in a turbin to pray to the statue, etc.

I have a question, too. I put the key into the place it needs to go. I put the diamond into its place and I've opened the thing up to the grates. What is it supposed to do?

You may have figured this out by now, but did you notice the connection with the completed Treasure Chest puzzle figures?

Once you put the key and the gem where they should go and the grates open, you will be able to access the three bonus levels through those grates once you have found all Minikits for each movie.
