Was this made just to make Torchwood look good?

I thought the BBC was hard up?

Do they really think this Dan Brown meets Time Team nonsense will shift DVD's?

This weeks looked like a party political broadcast for the Democratic Party so are they hoping to sell it to America?

Next week it's Boudicca Bonking Biggus Dickus in Bath what next King John's family jewels (it can't be Charles I's Sherlock Holmes found them already)?

Obviously they think Excalibur is this seasons money shot.

Surely Indiana Jones has found all the big ones anyhow.

Nothing, but nothing can make Torchwood look good!

I don't know, if any show could pull it off it's gonna be this one.

And nobody has used alien aftershave to commit date rape, the team don't drive around in a huge 4x4 with 'Bonekickers' on the side in red neon and they don't have a pet pterdactyl.

Yet...

A pterodactyl could only be an improvement. Every show should have one.

It would certainly add a much needed frisson of tension to "Question Time" that and Charlie Brooker's idea of changing the theme tune to "The Ace Of Spades".

It might even make Big Brother interesting to people other than experts in personality disorders..........

The moderator fanboys on the Torchwood forum run a tight ship. I said the cockney one looked like a partially developed Terry Christian and the whole thread was deleted.

He looks more like the result of some terrible frankenstinian cloning experiment combining Terry Christian's DNA with that of a rodent.

I think that Davros should join the Torchwood team. Not only would his inevitable liaison with Jack tick Equality boxes in the hitherto-neglected disability section, but it would make for a nice running plotline whereby Jack has to keep an eye on what Davros is up to, because he has a suspicion he's requisitioning materials so that he can build Welsh Daleks in the Torchwood basement.

"still watch it every week though, just for laughs"

That's what I tell people about Torchwood and most of Doctor Who these days but in fact I suspect I get a bizarre S&M kink out of watching it, it's awful which isn't the same thing as awesome but it is better than this rubbish.

Even I stopped watching after episode three.
