OK, I see what you did there...(spoilers)

...kinda. Instead of the Final Girl actually being the Final Girl, and the spirit being put to rest, you've upended the formula and made the Final Girl swap places with a Vengeful-For-NO-Good-Reason Spirit, who wins.

What I'm not sure of is why. If you're going to upend a perfectly good formula, you have to have a reason other than Because It's There. Otherwise, we're just going WTF? LAME! at the end, which was my reaction. No one really did anything to Angela that deserved erasing, so what? The movie is really about an evil, obsessive creepy little girl in a coma who stalks her old friend, erasing all of her current friends before putting her in a coma instead? Cool story, bro, but i'm not diggin it.

Sandy and her friends are the reason she was in a coma in the first place. They literally scared her into a coma because she has asthma and had a seizure (I believe) and started foaming at the mouth and never woke up. That's why she went after Sandy. It wasn't for NO good reason. It was for being put into a coma for six years and losing all that time.

"You can fire me, but bitch don't think you can take me."

Sandy and her friends did something super uncool, but to track each of them down and erase them? That makes Angela 1,000,000 x worse than them. Her actions are far more destructive and nasty than what was done to her. And really, it's not like Sandy or any of her friends could have known the consequences would be that bad. These were children playing a mean-spirited prank. What Angela did was the equivalent of fire-bombing your neighbor's house because their dog crapped on your lawn.

It is the way of men to make monsters; and it is the nature of monsters to destroy their makers.

I don't know, why should she sit in a coma suffering while the cruel people who put her there get to enjoy life? I don't condone revenge but it is really their own fault.

One girl is put in a coma (for reasons that probably don't make medical sense but whatever), so seven or eight people have to DIE to make it right? Even after (at least) one of them tries to make up for it?

Makes sense. Amirite?

Well its about making it right....its about revenge. The girl held a grudge. For everyone else who grew up, and grew out of that experience--they get over it--we were just kids when it happened, im so sorry--i have morals now. But this little girl didn't grow up--relatively speaking...shes been stuck and pretty much frozen in her body--probably only reliving the last experience that she experienced in her life, which was horrible--just building up and on. She probably still has a mind of a little girl--a girl that over the years becomes more selfish and immature and just less patient. She's pissed, and still holding that grudge.

I personally rooted for the little girl throughout the movie, those kids were idiots. Did they deserve to die? Of course not. People make mistakes. But I totally understand why that evil character did it. What else is there to do? I mean, why not haunt the hell of those kids.

I personally rooted for the little girl throughout the movie, those kids were dumbasses. Did they deserve to die? Of course not, they weren't doing anything bad--just partying--having fun, doing typical American teen things. And people make mistakes, they were kids beforehand. BUT I totally understand why that little girl did what she did--haunting them and killing them.

What else is there to do for this girl? I mean, why not haunt the hell of those kids.

I'm with you here. To grown-ups, and to the perpetrators, that's what bullying is all about -mostly innocent pranks, and the bullied ones making a great deal about something that's not. But to the victim, it is something traumatic with potentially very serious consequences, as in this case. Angela may have been not the kind of cool girl that other children wanted to hang with, but she wasn't evil at all.

What else is there to do for this girl? I mean, why not haunt the hell of those people that hurt you, in order to feel better, and to eventually--have the mental and spiritual strength to come out of a coma.
