Angela's "Angel" *spoilers*

This is one thing we don't ever seem to hear much talk about regarding what happens.

In a few scenes, we see Angela drawing something in her youth. In a later scene, the woman at the convent calls it her Angel, but as Sandy explores the room, we see her unearth more drawings, as the childlike angel image, over the course of several dozen images, takes on a more horrifying look, of a more horrifying Version of "The Scream" in the image she takes with her.

What if Angela had some sort of guardian angel, that was twisted and deformed given her psyche, let alone the events of what happened?

It should be noted that during the killing of the others, Angela's form and body begins to transform. When she makes the first kill, she looks like she did in the cemetary when playing the game...but by the time she appears in the hallway to Sandy, she's lost all her hair, and is writhing about.

I do feel Angela was slightly unhinged, since she didn't seem at all happy when she first heard Sandy playing the game with the others as kids. As well, the sense of betrayal, intermingled with the "joke" that ended up putting her into a coma, probably caused the spirit to manifest.

"Thanks, guys." "So long, partner."

She does change form hmmmm. Angela does seem unhinged about letting the others in the game, but now that I have given it more thought, maybe she was upset because she knew it would end badly, i.e. everyone becoming ghosts but one. As long as it was just her and Sandy playing the game there was only two, in that one would be the ghost and one would be alive, the gist of the game couldn't be realized. Angela tells Sandy about forget me not's in the cemetery and Angela says she has known people who have died (of course assuming she's not talking about her parents). If it is a demon/curse then we can assume she's been through this before and she is the "winner" or one who remembers from the last round.
The game starts out with one "ghost" who chases the living, but as it catches the living, one by one, they become ghost's (hence as she killed more of her friends, there were more ghost's than Angela doing the killing). The winner of the game is the last person left, who doesn't get turned into a ghost. The drunken cemetery game, Angela appears and asks to join, no one at the time remembers who she is. She ends up winning the game, but them jumps off a cliff. Sandy is the last person to be ghosted, but she does remember Angela, hence she remembers everyone who gets killed. Maybe the curse/demon was passed to her because she allowed others to play the game. As long as it was only her and Angela there was never really anyone being a ghost, perhaps Angela knew this and was keeping the demon/curse at bay? Angela was the ghost in the first game the girls played.
Still doesn't explain everything, especially her waking from the coma and being fine. They were trying to tie on belief of things with the nun's comment, but it all just doesn't come together.
