FRAAAKES!!!

Did anyone else notice Jonathan Frakes as the trombone player in New Orleans?

He turned and smiled toward the camera.

Sing Worf! Sing!

reply

Yes I did. I had a feeling he would have his usual cameo and had a feeling he would be playing the trombone somewhere although I thought it might be in the jazz club. I hadn't thought of a street musician.

reply

I sure did! I looked down for sec and I was like "Hey, I know who that is", and I rewinded it.

Nice Riker reference! I just came on here to start a topic about his cameo.

reply

He had one in the last movie and this one.

If he ever wanted to act in these things, in the next one (if there is a next one) he could be someone with a connection to something and following around the Librarian for a specfic reason. Hey if he directs, he could have a part written for himself and tie it into his other appearances.

Then again, he could just like to put himself in a scene and just leave it at that.

I have fun seeing the "where's number one" moments. :)

Did not notice his cameo this time, though I'm not surprised to hear it was music related, in Trek he was always on the jazz, speaking of which, does anyone know if he did his own playing for the scenes?

reply

I am pretty sure when Noah first walks into the Barber shop, it is Frakes in the chair who almost straight away gets his face covered with the hot towel.

Spotting Number One. Always fun. :)

Noooo!! I missed him and I was looking for him. Granted, I had never heard of The Librarian series until tonight, and recognized his name in the credits as the director, but I didn't see him. Love his work on Star Trek: The Next Generation and the movies that he's directed. Now I'm a Librarian fan too.

Why would anyone want to 'see' a fat, ugly porker like Frakes? I'll send you my picture if you're gay and interested in fat, ugly old men.
