shareOne every two years?! I'm with you too. I have been thoroughly entertained by all three movies, they're simply a lot of fun - movies that I can enjoy more than once. They do entertain and movies are after all, entertainment. If they keep making them up to the current standards I'll keep buying them. I agree too that each movie has been better than the previous one and the previous one was damned good to begin with. Pure delight! Mind pablum? Maybe but who cares, they're well done entertainment and with tongues frequently and firmly in cheeks.
