I wish they'd do a Librarian TV _series_

Even if they couldn't do a regular, full year of shows, it would be nice to get at least 13-episode seasons . . . maybe running every other week (on a weekend, maybe) or half a year, maybe. Although only as long as it's still Noah Wyle, Bob Newhart and Jane Curtain.

I've liked all three films quite a bit (giving them all 8/10). The films already have a series feel, imo, and they have a great premise for easily producing a large number of plots. They could also do episodes that focus more on Bob Newhart or Jane Curtain's characters, and give Jane Curtain's character a more interesting backstory for that.

I agree it would make a good show. I don't think any of the actors are that busy and now that the producer's have gotten a hit show with Leverage they should try and convince TNT to make this into a series too. It's kinda been done already though with the show Relic Hunter starring Tia Carrere and now sci-fi has a show called Warehouse 13 with a very similar premise. Relic Hunter was really good and canceled way too soon and I liked the pilot of warehouse 13.

I loved all 3 movies but I would be afraid it would get stale if they tried to do it on a weekly basis.

And now there's Warehouse 13 which is kind of similar, so I don't think that networks would buy the idea. I'd love to see it as a TV show too but the chances are slim at best. Let's just hope that we'll get a few more movies.

Warehouse 13 was probably created by someone who had watched this show, thought a series was good, but could not get the name rights.

It would become old fast.

Kind of like the Night Stalker. The 'Booger of the Week' thing.
