Who was the note for?
I didn't get to watch the last half hour or so because my Mom had just returned home (from travel) so I got caught up talking with her. Who was the note for, and did we find out what it said? thanks so much!

Turns out to be Peyton's daughter that was given up for adoption.
Thanks for that spoiler ljcj29 - So the note was for the girl with the red baret she sort of met in the beginning, when jogging at the beach, for whom a memorial service was held. I had the same problem as the OP - my ex-rental got stuck on Chapter 7. And did she get on her terms with her own past, things end well relation wise with her co-worker too? What was the effect the note had on the third one she visited? Did the TV guy back down?
...a pastor, a country western singer and the son of a real estate mogul. The last 2 mentioned had falling outs with their parents. The note shows the importance of strong family relationships and the ties that bind. It is also shown that the note could be used for devious means as in the case with the son of the real estate millionaire.
