Horrible movie

I chose to watch this movie because of Steve Guttenberg being in it. I like him a lot. He usually plays goofy guys in comedies, and he always makes me laugh.

But this movie is laughable in a bad way. I feel like Aislinn Sand had no idea how to play a mother whose son is in danger. Her reactions were too relaxed. Also, I'm pretty sure that a mother wouldn't leave the edge of that well under any circumstances.

The kid...ugh. He's not a very good actor, but I tried to overlook that because he's young. I see people complaining around here about his speech 'impediment.' I was under the impression that English isn't his first language.

Don't they live in Germany? But the ambulance says 'ambulance' on the side? And it seemed like people with accents were hard to come by.

There are a lot of crappy things about this movie, and I kind of regret watching it. LOL

I'm not going to defend this film because frankly it could have been better, but I was moderately entertained and found the ending satisfying, predictable though it was. The acting was over the top, and the child in particular was not very good (though I also go easy on child actors). Still, this is a solid 6/10 in my book for making me care.

This appears to have been filmed in Germany, and some of the actors speak with a slight accent (though it sounded more Australian to me). The son had a much stronger accent than his parents. And why were they speaking English anyway? Very puzzling choices here, but I guess that's what we get for these indie cheapies.
