surprised by how much I liked it...

...but it's all a matter of taste, of course. I seem to favor movies that gather strangers that need to solve a problem together, and I love how this movie had a closed-in claustrophobic feel to it. Maybe most low-budget movies have that effect, but that's okay...

A lot of silly things wrong with with details. Some of the rules of the ship were weird, like the no smoking thing. Huh?

I wouldn't watch it again, but it was a worthwhile ride for a night. Especially if you recorded it on DVR and don't have to deal with commercials.

I agree, I liked it too, but then again I have an affinity for B-movies. Though some of the rules were strange, it wasn't about the rules themselves but the fact that the characters needed to follow them to survive. It was about obedience and doing the right thing. They didn't follow the rules when they were alive, so they were given one more chance to do so, no matter how absurd the rules were. Unfortunately, some people just refuse to learn. ;)

Yeah, I just saw the movie and I actually enjoyed it for what is was. I tend to like movies like this as well. It's always interesting to see how people will act when they are put into a group situation in order to solve a problem, and they don't know each other beforehand.

There was a lot wrong with this movie, but I found it humorous.

Yeah, I was pleasantly surprised by this movie as well. The story kept your interest and the ending had a powerful theme of redemption.
