Online Focal Point

What I see 'Saw' video game as, in my mind, would work as an online game where you get to create your own character and be randomly put into one of the thousands of traps Jigsaw has set up for you in this huge facility. You are given the tools to escape with your life, and once you do you can meet up with other trap survivors along the way - solve clues, riddles and also be put up to more tests and traps.

I would also be interesting if its open play, sort of sandbox type - you can do anything, you can either end your life, end one of your teammates, or build a trap of your own to catch the jigsaw/jigsaw's apprentice/or your friends turned foes. There might not even be a true ending to the game since its online capability, you make your own destiny.

thats a pretty cool idea. when i first came across this link i was thinking maybe the game company was going to do a throw back to puzzle games like "solstice" for the NES and "Equinox" for the superNES the puzzles would be just a lot more gory and gruesome.

that's a great idea bro, and with voice talk it could be cool, and when you create your character (this might suck a bit) you choose a background and a name, so when you wake up and listen to the tape it inserts your name like it's actually talking to you

"We're all still here.. we're all still fighting.."

its a horrible idea. the reason the devices in saw are so hard is because theres pain involved. if you take out the pain, the people could cut out a key from behind their eye etc within a matter of seconds. only way this could work is if it were one of those eyetoy games
