...is really p!ssing me off. I get to the point where I am halfway (hopefully) through the trap, and then it won't work, no matter what I do. There's no tips or hints or anything to help you get past the second part of the first trap.
I have the game for PS3 and I am about ready to throw something because it just gets so frustrating.
Which 'first trap'? When Tapp wakes up in the reverse bear trap?

Assuming you are talking about the reverse bear trap:
It's the same for all 3 parts mostly... you move your left stick the way it tells you and when the red square pops up in the lock you press the red square button.
Your kidding me right? Well you might as well return the game then because it only gets harder from there my friend. Thats the EASIEST trap in the whole game. Wait untill you get to the guy in the Pendulum trap
