Peter was a jerk!

I don't understand why she liked him in the first place. He's inseecure, constantly apologetic, can't seem to do anything by himself. She fed him, gave him pep talks, and then after all that he complained he was the one fed up with how the relationship was going and that he's unhappy. Not to mention, how badly he treated her - calling her names, undermining her, and disrespecting her anal traits.

Bottom line is, Peter didn't deserve Vandy. She was insanely good for him.

I totally agree! The part where she tried to make him a PB and J and he freaked out on her would have been the end for me had I been her. And yet he said she was the one always trying to him, lol.

Ok, I'm a 41 year old male, and I KNOW that Peter was a real jerk(as shown in the majority of the selected scenes, especially the PB&J). It is realistic to show that she would stay with him and get back with him, because it happens every day in real life. That said, if she was smart, she would not have ended up with Peter, she deserved better.

in what way. she was nothing but nice to him. he freaked out over a sandwich.

She was a natural caretaker, and liked him because he needed constant reassurance and to be looked after... which she was more than willing to do. He was a dick but his personality somehow went with hers. I agree that the PB&J scene was ridiculous though.. He acted that way because he was so upset from bombing his interview and needed someone to take it out on, and why not take it out on the person who loves him unconditionally and lives to make him happy.
