They're still going to air it?

I'm an American, and I already bought the real Spaced on dvd. I hope the U.S. version fails.

There is no "U.S. version".

They shot a pilot, but it wasn't picked up.

i'm not surprised, this is quite possibly the worst idea i've ever heard
the whole point of the Spaced tv series is the surreal british humour - it just wouldn't work with american humour, it'd end up just like every other us sitcom

The U.S. DVD release of Spaced has a Q&A on Disc 3 where Simon, Edgar, et. al. talk about the now (thankfully) aborted U.S. "adaptation"...
