Whats up with the white nikes?
Why was Jackie handing out white nikes? He just wanted the people that work for him to have a good running sneaker? j/k But seriously it just seemed kind of random. Any thoughts?

the sneakers were nike air force ones. they debuted and were huge in the 90s. and even now to a lesser extent.

Not quite. The Air Force 1 debuted in 1982 and was a massive shoe in the NBA throughout the 80s. In the mid-00s they became big again thanks to rapper's wearing the monochrome all whites the guys are rocking in this movie.
For the record, the boxes used in the movie are not correct to 1998 as the all-orange Nike boxes only made an appearance around the time of the movie's release. In '98 the boxes were one third brown and two thirds orange, but hey, WHO CARES
