American That Does Not Think Jeff Dunham Is Funny

Sorry, but being over the age of 30 I have heard all these jokes before, and by much more talented comedians. It's just the same old rehashed commentary on pop-culture, nothing original or clever. It seems like the more watered-down and mediocre a performer is the more popular and celebrated he or she becomes in our mainstream culture. He's a very talented ventriloquist but that's all I can find even mildly impressive about him. His brand of humor is definitely not targeted at the triple-digit IQ crowd. Give me a cunning linguist like Patton Oswalt or the delightfully absurd Eugene Mirman any day!

He's mildly funny but I just watched the opening monologue and I won't be watching any more. I didn't think that anyone still needed to fish for laughs with gay bashing. It's tedious. And if it were blacks or some other minority that has gotten its point across he wouldn't dare. My family and I will exercise our right to turn the channel.
