VERY cool, but also dissappointing

They get everything right. The original writers and cast of most of them, in a good new original story. Who could wish for more? But the graphics are such a disappointment. And I'm not talking about the wii-version, I'm talking about the Playstation 3 version. I have much older games than that for the PS3 that has way better graphics. It ruined it a a lot for me, even though I played it through and DID have a good time. It would just be all authentic if the graphics was as good as say Resident Evil 5 from the same year. Ghostbusters is a graphic story with a big fanbase, and would deserve to have more money on production. Well well..

honestly i think the graphics are really good in it. far better than the PS2 or the wii version. but than i've been playing video games since the 80's as well.

whenever i hear someone complain about today's graphics when not talking about the Wii which i do admit has really bad graphics on certain games. i just want to have these people go back & play some old games for the NES. cause there hasn't been that many games at all when it comes to the PS3 for example that it has bad graphics. in fact i can't think of any at all off the top of my head.

people also forget the story sometimes when it comes to games, they can pay more attention to the graphics than the actual story. but that's my own opinion i have no idea if anyone will agree with me. you know what? i hope i do have people agree with me and if i don't than oh well i guess.

I've never seen the PS3 version but I've got the XBox version and the graphics are just fine.

i've read online they have the best graphics out of all of them, but i honestly have no idea if that's true. i don't own an Xbox nor do i want want either.

i have the game on PS2 & PS3 i had my PS2 first in case you are wondering why i have it on both. and there are different things in both games and it's not just the graphics. for example you collect art pages in the wii and the PS2 versions.

in the pS3 version and the xbox version it's i believe cursed objects. plus the drinking fountain is not in the PS2 version either. the bosses are different too.

same story though but different design for each boss. check it out on you tube in case you get curious what the graphics are and let me know what you think.

Inarticulate people like yourself tick me off. "They get everything right," and then you go on to complain.

You're like someone who says a movie sucks and "is only worth a 6."

I only watched the long play on Youtube ( i have no life) but i did think what they did come up with was pretty amazing even if the story feels recycled from the first movie and the game-play is probably too linear and self contained. In that way it felt more like a movie to me than a game and was easier to watch rather than participate in. That they got back as many of the original cast as they did was also really impressive, the whole thing reads as a giant nostalgic love letter to fans (no matter how hard to please those fans are). The constant banter of the guys really sold it for me, Bill Murray's weirdly underplayed Venkman notwithstanding. It felt just like old times; GB 1&2 were some of the first movies i saw as a little kid. True it might not be as good as Resident Evil 5 but this is probably the best we're going to get from the old era of Ghosbusters before the inevitable feminist reboot next year, unfortunately: a pseudo third installment....its good enough. Like others here, I think they should make more games, developing the GB franchise with further teams in different cities or a Real Ghostbusters adaptation. I f&ckin loved that cartoon.

..except the graphics, but it's so cool that I kind of forgives it, but then again.. I know I'm saying against myself, I just would like to see even better image quality. But I like it so much still so I'm kind of schizophrenic, yeah

I found to be the graphics just fine. I'm also from the Nintendo NES Era so graphics don't really mean *beep*

Graphics or rather background, foreground and interface detail are really overlooked in every game.

Modders who love the game really do shame corporations when they improve on simple background images...

In all honesty every single game is etchy at best in that regard. I don't understand how they can produce the game but can't equal the skill of one guy with Photoshop n google images.

The textures of the scenery is the most important thing that is being overlooked to save money in every single game developed.
