I liked Diary of a mad black woman, it seemed complete and whole, I felt satisfied! But than it got progressively worse! But I kept spending my money, I kept supporting him! But HE KEEPS doing these poorly constructed films and if he doesn't stop shoving these half assed movies down my throat he is going to lose a fan! I feel like he is treating me like a dumb child. Like he is following this really bad recipe: don't mix it up, put the same as stuff out there, don't complicate it, Drugs, God, Sexual abuse, family issues, and repeat!

Come on Perry you were doing so good.

While some of his work, storywise,does seem a little cliched, he did create some pretty good characters. It seems like hes just trying to follow the formula to make an oscar-worthy movie. I do like the characters themselves: Brown, Joe, Madea - I'd just like to see them put into situations that haven't been done to death.
