Parent's only job was to give birth, nothing else? Huh?

Usually Tyler's ID (Madea)makes sense when you look beyond the flamboyant behavior.

I totally disagreed with his/her lack of empathy and understanding of a woman whose innocence was lost due to being molested by her step-father.

I mean even if that has never happened to you, you should shut your mouth and listen.

The second thing, I had a problem with is saying that Parents don't have any obligation to protect your innocence as a child.

Specifically he/she said the only thing they have to do is bring you in the world the rest is up to you.

That's not entirely true, since you can't defend yourself or teach yourself (correctly) as a child, especially from a perverted grown man.

Lack of responsibility for nurturing a child is the reason why so many of them steer in the wrong direction of gangs, drugs, alcohol etc.

Tyler was dead wrong on this one.
