One thing that just hit me about this movie (spoilers)

I've watched this horrible movie a couple times and one of the things that just hit me is the mom turns out to be wealthy, but at the end of the movie, Andrea, her daughter, is shown living in a horrible apartment. This may be her mom's way of "teaching her a lesson" but as holy as her character was written, you'd think she'd see them living a little better, if only for the sake of her grandson. Now, I really disliked Andrea for obvious reasons, but when Pam told her that the diner had only made a little money, she looked genuinely concerned and wrote a check for $5k, but her mom left her living in the projects? LOL...

Tyler Perry's direction was lazy in this movie, this is only one of many examples.

Maybe her mother did offer her money and Andrea was too proud to take it.

Screw the mother! Andrea's baby daddy was richer than her! If anything he is the one that shouldve been giving them a better life. AND if you really wanna get technical about it her husband Chris took her money from the bank (unrealistically) and started his own company so she could go after him as well. Tyler is a very mediocre writer and director. His films always have these wide ass plotholes.

I guess that could be a plot hole, but honestly why should Andrea's mother do anything? Andrea did not listen to anything that her mother told her AND insulted her repeatedly. She was as nasty as she could be to just about everybody in her family. Realistically why would anybody have any pity on her after the way she behaved? I would have felt sorry for the baby, but Andrea could have kissed my ass.
