I think it would fit him as well, it would also show a good range for him. I can picture him as a love interest though, in the world maybe? Or a best friend.
An idea is only relevant if it's being thought apon.
I really hope that's his role. He is very believable as the sweet guy, obviously, but he definitely has the talent to break out of that stereotype. He's gone dark before, but he's always inherently good, so I am really interested in seeing him go completely dark.
