Will there ever be a season 2?

Just wondering if there are any plans for it. The ending to the season we have seems to be meaning to go further.

bah, no, this series was very piss poor....and had a *beep* ending...in my opinion this series can stay buried -.-

i hope so! this was a great anime...i know some dude was trying to get the creator(s) or Claymore to do a 2nd series, by doing a web petition, and they said if they get over 10000 votes by the end of march 2010 they would (and they did get more than the required votes!)...maybe someone should do something like that for this 1! id be keen to see a 2nd series for sure
