OK, so I found out that I'm not getting a PS3 for Christmas. Oh well, maybe next year when the price drops down. Is the PS2 version worth getting? Keep in mind, I did NOT care for SvR 07. It also doesn't bug me that the PS2 version doesn't have online, because I never would get online for the previous editions. I was one of the many few who didn't enjoy it. I have a few questions:

1.) How is 24/7 mode (the season part)? Is it better than 07's storyline (I hated it).
2.) How is GM mode? Any new updates or anything?
3.) Are the graphics really as bad as IGN says they are? I find it hard to believe a newer edition of a game, can have worse graphics than the previous one (I know, some games do. I'm just hoping this one isn't).
4.) How are the controls? Is there still the control type that is similar to 06's?
5.) Did they speed up the loading times at all? That was one of the main reasons why I hated 07.

P.S. I am not up-to-date with WWE, so the "outdated" roster won't bother me. Althought it does look rather small.

1)24/7 mode(the season mode is very huge,u get to play in season mode for 4 years on the same show u pick,if u want to stay,there are a few storylines but not as much as svr2007,but the storylines r better and more realistic,yeah its 4 years of good storylines,there r funny storylines in this game too.
2)yo the gm mode is the same with an ecw roster and the general managers and a cut-scene.
3)the graphics look mad realistic,it actually looks like i'm watching wwe,the wrestlers look real and everything else like the fans,stadium,weapons,etc,to me graphics is the best in this game.
4)the controls r just like svr07 except with more moves like putting people threw flaming tables,with weapons,etc,u will see when u get the game.
5)yeah i guess the loading times r faster,they give the boiography and trivia of all the wrestler and the picture.

yo but the best thing in this game is the extreme rules match and the fighting styles and just the exbition mode,i give this game a 9.7/10,it's that good,u should buy this game for playstation 2,i think it might be the last game for ps2,ok peace.

I hated 07. I think it's the worst SvR thus far.

SVR 08 will never get a 9.7! 5.5/10 is good enough!
