ok, now i know some of you guys are gunna jump all over me right away because of the name on the thread, but bare with me.

The GM mode itself isn't bad, i kinda enjoy having a more hands on affair with my locker room. Being able to train them up in certain stats to achieve more just makes it all the more interesting.

BUT!!
and here it comes.

the AI managers are BULLSH*T!

Is it my imagination, or no matter what combination of extreme matchs and title opportunities i dish out, the opposing GMs ALWAYS take more in the ratings.

and PPV's don't count for anything either, which sucks, because thats feels like my only saving grace.

I build storylines, 3 or 4 at a time, and run them for 4 - 8 weeks to keep people interested. I have title defenses all the time, and often mix up the match styles, and yet RAW's repetition of 3 on 3 elimination tags always seem to outscore me, and i feel ripped off.

Is there some masterful plan to gain ratings over the other 2 promotions?
i feel like i've tried just about everything.

And if thats not enough, it also feels like the AI's roster never takes any damage. my guys spend half the year on 25% fatigue in a vain effort to keep up with the fans, whilst every time i look to trade (even after hardcore matchs etc) the other shows talent never has any fatigue.

i swear, it's rigged.

try this on gm mode once a month do a show with hell in a cell matches only and defend all your titles it will really boost up the ratings i've tried it and it works

also be sneeky. The computer cheats like hell. You can put on 5 good matches and they put on only 3 great matches leaving 2 spots empty and still win. So cheat, be snneky. Build up a wrestler whose poor in your stable and make them look like a superstar then trade them for someone like HHH, HBK, Rock, Stonecold...

It worked for me I started off third in ratings but slowly I made some great trades and am 2nd.

Best yet, along with many positives you all mentioned, I like changing whose face and heel

Ideally I use RAW since it has the Women's gold...

Start out with lower level superstars. Then just keep having them do the other brand attack and it will boost up their popularity. Keep doing this and eventually you'll have a whole roster of wrestlers with the popularity level of 100 working for cheap. Also i usually turn injuries off.
