Anyone with any kind of comment whatsoever. . . ? Would love to see someone try and defend this one.
Atrocious production value, frighteningly poor acting, and a script that would make a screenwriting 101 student with an ego cry blood. How in the world this movie got funded and made is absolutely, 100% beyond belief.
It's pretty embarrassing and tough to get through for so many reasons. What makes it even worse than the usual exploitation is that it aspires to be something greater. It thinks it's art. And the guy who produced, wrote, and directed it, and stars as Polanski is about 20 years too old, 30 pounds too heavy, and at least a foot too tall for the role. He looks more like an out-of-shape wrestler.
