Me & my wife both agree... This movie gets rated below 5/10, and below 3/10 stars. This puts it in the bottom 1% of movies we rate [we watch 200 a year or so]. Utter boring crap. Only 1 or 2 laughs, not worth the time it takes. SOOOO BORING. STAY AWAY FROM THIS.

We're in a binary system where you either like Adam Sandler or this film?
I thought it was painfully slow-paced, but maybe I was biased because I was expecting something more in the style of, Black Books. I think the film is actually more enjoyable if you don't think of it as a comedy. The ending saved it for me, actually.
Yeah it wasn't very good. I had high expectations, because there are moments in Black Books that are absolutely genius, and unlike anything else I've ever seen. This just felt... incomplete.
Off the top of my head, Death at a Funeral and Archer both handled the "unlikely accident" theme a lot better.
