Linda and Co-dependecy

The one thing that seems to be escaping some viewers is CO-DEPENDECY, there is no question in my mind that Linda was co-dependent with her husband, that is why she was so lost and why she also was withdrawn. It was not a great leap to fall for someone where this would continue with the much younger guy she fell for. Just as being married to an alcoholic this relationship may be doomed also. It could have been she made the move to the young lover so her son could have someone around for him and that is why i hoped she will gain some clarity and establish some boundaries in the near future just for the kids sake. The film should have ended with him returning to his dream of wrestling and she feeling better about her self esteem as a person. The lover could have stayed in touch as a dear friend.
